This kit features a fascinating analog mechanism where turning a handle lifts metal balls up an elevator to roll down a wooden track. The box says it takes about "1 hour" to build, but can I finish it in time? Watch as I tackle this challenging wooden puzzle! Analog Mechanics: No batteries required! This is the conclusion of the 1984 Tomy "1/72 Cycloader II" build (continued from VLog #459)! I have the version I built back in middle school (about 40 years ago) displayed in the shop. Can I surpass my younger self with my current skills? It's a battle between "Middle School Miyake" and "Pro Shop Owner Miyake." Watch the results of this 40-year revenge match! ▼Highlights Old vs. New Showdown: Comparing the brush-painted work from my middle school days with the modern airbrushed finish. Space Weathering Logic: Demonstrating "Silver Chipping" with a fine brush, assuming debris hits from all directions in zero gravity.
